Sky: Pioli facing two huge selection dilemmas ahead of Milan vs. Sampdoria

There are two dilemmas for AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli to solve ahead of Monday’s clash with Sampdoria at San Siro, a report claims.

Milan will be looking to put memories of the 5-0 thrashing they received against Atalanta in Bergamo firmly in the background and build on the good signs that were seen prior to that game.

According to what has been reported by Peppe di Stefano of Sky Italia – as cited by MilanNews.it – Pioli will once again deploy a 4-3-3 system against Claudio Ranieri’s side.

Pioli still has two doubts about his starting XI though, among which is whether to start Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The Swede played 45 minutes in a friendly on Friday, scoring and getting an assist, with the most recent reports suggesting he is set to start from the first minute on Monday, but Krzysztof Piatek also netted a brace in that game and could start.

The other dilemma is whether Lucas Paqueta or Franck Kessie should start as the right-sided mezzala, with the former having also scored in the friendly.
