Sky: Pioli will change the attack for visit of Lille – Rebic to start in place of Leao or Ibrahimovic

AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli is likely to rotate his attack when his side host Lille in the Europa League on Thursday, it is claimed.

According to what is being reported by Peppe Di Stefano of Sky (via MilanLive), Ante Rebic is likely to be given the chance to return to starting XI against Lille. The Croatian has finally recovered and is back to full fitness after the elbow dislocation he sustained against Crotone.

However, it is still to be determined whether Rebic will play in the place of Rafael Leao as a left winger, or whether he will replace Zlatan Ibrahimovic and play as the centre-forward.

Of course, if Rebic were to play as the centre-forward it gives Pioli the chance to perhaps give Jens Petter Hauge his first start on the left, or to move Brahim Diaz there and give Rade Krunic some more game time as the playmaker. Either way, the Milan boss is spoilt for choice.
