Some of the AC Milan squad came in to Milanello to train once again despite having been given an off-day after last night’s win, a report claims.
Yesterday’s victory over Sampdoria allowed Milan to move five points clear at the top of the Serie A table after nine rounds of action, and it is custom for the team to have a rest day after a match.
Sky Italia’s Peppe Di Stefano reported (via MilanLive) last week that even the day after the win over Fiorentina, players who were not expected to show up to Milanello arrived to keep working.
Now, the same journalist (via MilanNews) has revealed that the same thing has happened today. Despite having a rest day, part of the team is present at Milanello.
There are recovery sessions scheduled for those who played yesterday and therapy for those who, like Bennacer, were not present in the match against Sampdoria.
“The climate in the team is very positive,” Di Stefano added.
