Sky journalist responds to speculation over ‘possible disagreements’ in Milan dressing room

By Oliver Fisher -

Sky journalist Manuele Baiocchini has given his thoughts on the rumours that the AC Milan dressing room is not a happy place at the moment.

With Sunday night’s derby defeat to Inter, Milan made it seven games without a win and lost further ground in the top four race as they were beaten without scoring by their city rivals Inter for the second time in less than three weeks, this time by a 1-0 scoreline and not 3-0.

The Rossoneri did not manage a single shot on target during the entire 90 minutes which is a bad enough statistic, but in context it is even worse given that Pioli’s men have now lost four games in a row, have dropped from second to sixth in the table and lost in the Coppa Italia and Supercoppa.

Baiocchini spoke during an interview with MilanNews and he was asked about the rumours possible disagreements in the Rossoneri dressing room involving unhappy players and the head coach.

Many talk about possible disagreements in the Rossoneri locker room…

“A lot has been said and written. When things go wrong, everything comes out: even a word spoken in a low voice becomes a roar,” he said.

“It’s a moment in which Milan are not doing well and there can be tension and moments of nervousness, but I also think that as soon as Milan returns to playing well and winning, these problems will also disappear. It must be said that in a club these situations always exist: if things go badly they feel stronger, when everything goes well it’s all online.”
