Sky: Probable Milan XI to face Genoa – Kalulu, Krunic and Messias all expected to start

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli is set to freshen up the attack for tomorrow’s trip to face Genoa at the Marassi, a report claims.

Pioli is not able to call upon the players he would normally use to rotate in the forward department like Ante Rebic and Olivier Giroud, by Sky reports that on Sunday the Rossoneri – among other issues – seemed really tired, most likely given the intensity of their recent games.

Pierre Kalulu will come in at right-back while Fikayo Tomori will take the place of the disqualified Alessio Romagnoli at centre-back. Franck Kessié and Sandro Tonali are ready to return against the Grifone as the double pivot.

The main rotation should come in the attack where Alexis Saelemaekers is in a battle with Rafael Leao, and Rade Krunic is likely to get a starting spot while a first league start will be given to Junior Messias as the central attacking midfielder.

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Kalulu, Kjaer, Tomori, Theo Hernandez; Kessie, Tonali; Saelemaekers (Leao), Messias, Krunic; Ibrahimovic.
