AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli is expected to rotate the team for tomorrow night’s home game against Cremonese at San Siro.
According to what is being reported by Sky, Pioli should stick with Mike Maignan, Davide Calabria and Theo Hernandez in the rearguard but Malick Thiaw and Pierre Kalulu should be the centre-back pairing with Fikayo Tomori injured.

Aster Vranckx should get an opportunity to play in a deeper midfield role alongside Ismael Bennacer, with Sandro Tonali getting some rest and Charles De Ketelaere in a more advanced role.
In the attacking department, Alexis Saelemaekers should start on the right flank and Brahim Diaz over Rafael Leao on the left, with Divock Origi currently tipped to be the striker.
Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Calabria, Kalulu, Thiaw, Hernandez; Vranckx, Bennacer; Saelemaekers, De Ketelaere, Diaz; Origi.

Cremonese boss Davide Ballardini should also make changes compared to the 1-1 draw with Verona with Okereke and Dessers candidates to start up front with Buonaiuto as support.
Sernicola returns on the right with Valeri on the other flank, while Quagliata will not be available as he is disqualified for two matches. In defence, Ferrari returns to complete the department with Vasquez and Lochoshvili.
Probable Cremonese XI (4-3-1-2): Carnesecchi; Ferrari, Vasquez, Lochoshvili; Sernicola, Meité, Castagnetti, Valeri; Buonaiuto; Okereke, Dessers.

Oh sht another 1-1 draw coming 🤣
0-0 more likely. I can already hear Pioli:
“The result is not what we wanted but we played a good game, with the right artitude. We just needed more clarity up front. There is no point in focusing on the negatives, we are going to improve in the next game. CDK needs to be more present, but we need to have patience.”
With Kalulu as a CB there is a big chance that we will concede same as always, even from Cremonese. So prob no 0-0. Anyway Cremonese is a weak team so even without all the starters we should beat them no excuses. We have to rest some players because we play Lazio after that, which is a direct duel for top 4.
Come on now, Kalulu is a gem of a player.
hahaha
Put cdk instead of origi and behind him sale brahim and leao
We need to play Leao if we are going to field Origi and CDK. Jesus, this screams 0-0 or trailing 0-1 by 70mins and then Pioli is gonna put in Leao. Which will be too late. My word we really are going to miss out on top 4
NO NO NO!!! We Are down to ten men before the game has even started! No CDK please
Origi is even worse !!!
This cannot be true. Is he deliberately trying to not make top 4.? This lineup has zero chance of scoring. Play your starters, get a lead, then rest them at halftime. You would learn from the previous matches, no?
My thoughts exactly. Why not start a stronger squad, score as many goals to kill the game and rest players. I really don’t know why Pioli not playing Adli, he can’t be worse than Origi, Rebic or CDK.
What if we don’t take the lead until the 80th minutes, given how we’ve struggled against bus parkers with our starting 11 anyway? Then they’ll be gassed for Lazio and then further gassed for Inter. So we might as well rotate, Pioli almost has no choice. Be glad that not EVERYONE in the starting 11 is a bench player like at Bologna. It’s a 50% starter/50% bench lineup, which provided maximum flexibility. If the game is close in our favor you have starters on the bench to come in for starters that started to close out the match. If we’re chasing the game you can bring on starters for bench players and have close to best 11 for the last 20-25min of the game. If we’re comfortably in the lead you can take off starters for more bench players.
You take your starters out at halftime no matter what, but at least you start strong and give yourself the best chance to win. We’ve seen this too many times already this season. This screams of them falling behind 1 -0 early and then Pioli will bring on the starters around 65 or 70 mins but the other team will parking the bus at that point.
It would be nice to be able to rest players against the weaker teams, but thanks to Maldini, we don’t have the depth to do that without dropping points, and Milan are not in any position to be dropping points.
if this is the lineup Pioli is truly using, I seriously would rather play some of our primavera players as opposed to this trash.
I never expected milan to lose. But hoping to win by looking at the line up, feels like it’s a humiliate for an opponent who is struggling from relegation and will definitely defend very deep. For sure, Cremonese will be happy to see Milan play with 10 men, because Origi is in the line up.
And Leao will be surely be introduced somewhere in 50-60 minutes trying to help the team to get that crucial goal.
It will be interesting to see Diaz and CDK on the field together. Diaz on the left is so much better then Rebic at least. But of course Leao will be missed. I hope this team can show something up front. It would be so nice if we didn’t have to rely solely on Leao…
Pioli needs to take this match seriously & get the 3 points before focusing on Lazio, because all matches are worth 3 points..he should start Leao& brahim
And it’s from Sky so likely true smh. We’re staying with 9.5 players. CDK is a man down and origi is like a half. But deep.down I’m hoping for the best but tbh I doubt they’ll get the job done. I’d prefer he did the complete new XI like last time tbh
