Christian Pulisic is just one step away from joining AC Milan in a €20m deal from Chelsea, with just the medical remaining. The American international is expected to arrive in Italy next week, a report claims.
Pulisic is expected to be Milan’s fourth signing of the summer after the arrivals of Marco Sportiello, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Luka Romero. An agreement has been reached with Chelsea and just the medical, as well as the contract signing, remains.
According to Sky Italia, as cited by Francesco Nasato, the 24-year-old is expected to arrive in Milano on Tuesday or Wednesday. He will undergo the medical first thing and then sign his contract with the club at Casa Milan.
The winger got just one goal for Chelsea this past season and will be hoping to get his career back on track at Milan. He will likely get a lot more playing time, with the Rossoneri expected to part ways with Junior Messias and possibly Alexis Saelemaekers as well.
Paramount+ should be pitching in to help Milan with the transfers of US Internationals like Pulisic and Musah since they would stand to directly benefit from it.
Absolutely.
It’s basically what Apple did to help get Messi to Miami, not that this would be anywhere near that level.
For those of you familiar with fbref.com you’ll know it’s one of the best footballing stat sites out there.
And there’s a very interesting stat one can find if you dig a little into Chelsea’s attacking players over the last 3 years. Bear with me…
Even with Pulisic’s miserable last season at Chelsea [mostly because they simply didn’t use him] he still had the most goal involvements per 90. But that’s not what I mean. I find it most interesting that every *other* attacking player who had more than just a few minutes with him had better numbers when Christian Pulisic was on the pitch.
He’s going to do that for the Rossoneri too, and I can’t wait 😁
