Sky: Rangnick makes Tonali his No.1 target for the summer – Inter stalling despite agreement

Ralf Rangnick has made Sandro Tonali a priority target for when he takes the reins at AC Milan, according to a report.

Sky Italia (via MilanNews) reported immediately after the 4-2 win over Juventus last Tuesday night that Milan are back in the race for Tonali.

Now, Gianluca Di Marzio has given another update to Sky (via InterNews) claiming that Tonali has an agreement with Inter, but there is no deal done yet between the Nerazzurri and Brescia with the former stalling due to the demands of their Lombardy neighbours.

Rangnick likes the player and he would love to have him at Milan, with the 20-year-old currently occupying the top spot in his wish list.

Tonali has previously admitted that he is a fan of the Rossoneri and although Inter and Juventus seemed to be ahead in the race, negotiations have stalled for both clubs and they have lost momentum.

La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Football Italia) recently reported that Brescia are demanding €50m for Tonali, a figure that Juventus, Inter and Milan will not pay.

  1. Brescia’s relegation may drop the price i imagine. Also, if Brescia notices no one will pay the price they want, they will naturally drop it. They can’t have the luxury of letting Tonali leave for free or cheap.
