Sky: Rebic injury changes little regarding Milan’s market but Hauge pursuit could be ramped up

AC Milan are not likely to make any major moves in the market despite Ante Rebic sustaining an elbow injury during Sunday’s win over Crotone.

The Croatian was tripped and fell to the ground in the second half, landing badly on his left arm. Immediately, you could see that it was a serious injury and the No.12 made his way to the locker room straight away.

MilanNews and Sky have both confirmed that Rebic dislocated his left elbow and is currently at the hospital to examine the matter further. The elbow was put back in place in the dressing room by the medical staff, and Stefano Pioli confirmed after the game that the signs are positive regarding lack of a fracture.

Gianluca Di Marzio spoke to Sky (via MilanNews) about the possible implications that Rebic’s injury could have on the Milan market.

He claims that the Croatian’s injury will not change much regarding the incoming market such as potentially a new deputy to Ibrahimovic arriving. At most, it will mean the pursuit of Bodo/Glimt sensation Jens Petter Hauge is accelerated.
