Sandro Tonali was instrumental in pushing Brescia president Massimo Cellino to accept an offer from AC Milan, a report claims.

After an intense last few days of negotiations, several major sources reported on Sunday night that Tonali to Milan is now a done deal, with the Rossoneri having found an agreement with both the player and his club.

Gianluca Di Marzio to Sky Italia (via MilanNews) on Monday night and offered some background on the Tonali situation.

He claims that during a meeting between Antonio Conte and Inter chairman Stephen Zhang, it was made clear that the Nerazzurri have a limited budget for signings without selling players, hence the setback in negotiations for Marash Kumbulla and Tonali.

In this sense there is it was a phone call with Tonali’s agent Bozzo asking his client wait but there was a negative answer. Milan were used the Milanese faith of Tonali, who pushed Cellino a lot to conclude the negotiation with Milan.

The player was instrumental in getting Cellino to accept the Rossoneri offer.
