Sky: Two players due back in training for Milan on Tuesday ahead of derby clash

AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli will welcome back two players for today’s training session at Milanello, according to a report.

Pioli had a number of different selection issues to contend with in Sunday’s draw against Hellas Verona as Simon Kjaer, Andrea Conti, Ismael Bennacer, Rade Krunic and Zlatan Ibrahimovic all missed out.

Their absences were felt, especially that of the latter as the Rossoneri failed to break down their resolute opponents despite having found a first half equaliser. Verona even finished the game having played with 10 men for the last 20 minutes.

According to Sky Italia’s Manuele Baiocchini (via MilanNews.it), Tuesday’s training session will start at 15:00 CET. He adds that midfielder Lucas Biglia – who has been out for a few weeks with a muscle injury – should return to training in a group today, as well as Zlatan.

The Argentine is likely to start the derby from the bench but Ibra – assuming he should recover completely – will certainly be part of the XI.
