Andrea Conti appears to be a man in demand as Fiorentina want to make him their new starting right-back, we have learned.
Last night our market correspondent Pietro Balzano Prota has told us that Fiorentina – after selling Pol Lirola to Marseille – are following Conti closely. However, he added that La Viola are not the only club interested in the full-back.
Now, he has told us that confirmations have arrived regarding Fiorentina’s interest. They want Conti as their new right-back and are ready to sign him on a permanent basis.
However, what must now be understood is what the intentions of the player are, i.e. whether he wants to stay and fight for his place, wait for other offers or if he is happy to accept the idea of a move to Florence. More updates are expected in the coming hours and days.
