AC Milan’s incoming market could well be over as they will not be able to land one of their remaining targets this month, we have learned.
Milan had their eye on one more signing before the window shut – namely a deputy to Theo Hernandez – and the name that most sources reported was Matias Vina of Palmeiras.
However, as we have learned from Pietro Balzano Prota, it will be incredibly hard to land Vina in the current transfer window, especially given that he will play in the Copa Libertadores final on Saturday night.
He remains a profile that the Rossoneri management like and therefore it is a situation that could reignite once the season is over, but the player’s agent has confirmed to us that he will “100%” not be leaving this month.
Everything is postponed to June, therefore, when the name of Vina could come back into fashion. For now, it seems, Pioli will have to made do with Tomori, Meité and Mandzukic.
