SM: Okafor set to miss PSG clash thanks to muscle fatigue

By Euan Burns -

AC Milan are going to be without Swiss forward Noah Okafor against Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday night thanks to muscle fatigue.

As reported by Luca Maninetti for our colleagues SempreMilan.it, Okafor was tested this morning at Milanello where he was seen training separately from the squad.

The decision was then taken to leave him out of the squad which is heading to Paris to take on the French champions.

He will be allowed to rest ahead of the Serie A clash with Napoli which is coming on Sunday night, another huge game for Milan’s Serie A title hopes.

Olivier Giroud is expected to start for Milan against PSG and this has only been strengthened by Okafor’s minor injury. Luka Jovic will be the other forward in the squad.

Milan are also going to be without Ruben Loftus-Cheek who has not recovered in time, whilst Samuel Chukwueze remains out with a longer-term injury.

  1. This is starting to annoy me, the people in charge of the physical preparation of the players and the medical staff deserve to be fired.
