Source claims Milan have shown ‘no interest’ in re-signing unwanted €40m Chelsea man

AC Milan have shown no interested in the idea of re-signing Tiemoue Bakayoko despite the player’s wishes, it has been claimed.

A number of different outlets have reported that the Frenchman wishes to have a second spell with the Rossoneri after impressing on loan under Gennaro Gattuso in 2018-19.

We reported last week that Bakayoko does indeed want to rejoin Milan this summer as Monaco will not exercise their €40million option to buy, and that while the Diavolo could launch a new loan bid (with option) the deciding say will be down to incoming boss Ralf Rangnick.

Chelsea do not intend to pay €6.5million-a-year for a player who would spend the season on the bench, so they want to get rid.

According to PianetaMilan’s Louis Girardi on Twitter, Bakayoko is continuing to try and push for a return to Milan in the upcoming transfer window.

However, Girardi adds the for the moment there has been no indication from Milan of any interest regarding bringing him back to the club.
