There are some intriguing suggestions coming from the Naples media this morning regarding how they might line up at San Siro tomorrow.
According to this morning’s edition of Il Mattino (via MilanNews), Giovanni Simeone will certainly miss the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals tomorrow, while Victor Osimhen is highly likely to miss the game too and Giacomo Raspadori is also at risk.
The feeling regarding Osimhen is that he will return for the game against Hellas Verona with the aim of then being a starter in the return leg at the Maradona, but at the moment the risk of a relapse tomorrow is too high for him to be risked.
Luciano Spalletti in the meantime is trying alternative solutions. In yesterday’s training session, he tried Elif Elmas as the centre-forward, with the attacking trident completed by Hirving Lozano on the right wing and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia on the left side.
