Spanish report claims Milan have virtually wrapped up deal for €60m Real Madrid flop

Luka Jovic will become one of AC Milan’s first signings this summer if nothing goes wrong, according to reports from Spain.

It is no secret that Milan are looking for a new centre-forward ahead of next season amid doubts over the future of Zlatan Ibrahimovic beyond the end of the current campaign.

After having been linked with him for a number of weeks, Todofichajes are claiming that Jovic will arrive on a season-long dry loan from Real Madrid – that being a deal with no option or obligation to buy.

The striker has only scored 2 goals in 24 games since his arrival from Eintracht Frankfurt last summer, and Milan have been following the player since January.

The report adds that the intermediation of his friend and former Frankfurt team-mate Ante Rebic could have been decisive for the striker to agree to go on loan.

The excellent relations between the two clubs has allowed Milan to seal the deal with the player also keen on the move, so all should be agreed as long as there are no other offers, although Real Madrid would advise Milan in any case.
