Sport: Milan, Inter and Spurs try for €65m Barcelona man but he wants Juventus return

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have sounded out the possibility of signing Miralem Pjanic from Barcelona but the player is not keen, according to a report.

Spanish outlet Sport have given an update on some players that could leave Barcelona and they list Pjanic as one of them. The Bosnian midfielder has plenty of suitors and his priority is to return to Serie A.

Max Allegri wants him back at Juventus and is in the process of trying to get him for two years on loan, although they have asked the player to lower his salary to be able to accommodate him. Inter and Milan have also probed, but it seems that the former Roma man would only go to Juve in Serie A.

The report adds that Tottenham have also asked in the last hours for a loan through their sports director, Fabio Paraticci, formerly of Juve. The 31-year-old made the move from Turin to the Nou Camp for a fee worth €60m rising to €65m when including bonuses (via Wikipedia).

  1. Why even report this “rumor” when we know there is zero chance the ownership would spend that type of money on a player? Everything is loan with option to buy, loan with option to buy. It’s unsurprising we’ve accomplished little as teams want to make money on their investments up front and don’t want to engage in a loan to buy arrangement.
