Sport1: Eintracht Frankfurt and Ndicka willing to listen to potential Milan advances

By Oliver Fisher -

Eintracht Frankfurt are willing to sell Evan Ndicka and the player would likely be open to a move to AC Milan, according to a report.

Milan remain in pursuit of a new centre-back and they have got Ndicka of Eintracht Frankfurt back in their sights, according to Sky (via MilanLive). The Rossoneri management consider Japhet Tanganga of Tottenham to be an option to reinforce the rearguard after Alessio Romagnoli’s departure, but Ndicka could be an alternative.

According to Christopher Michel of Sport1, Ndicka will be allowed to leave Eintracht if there is a suitable offer. His contract expires in 2023 and the Bundesliga club still want to avoid losing their top players on a free transfer.

Since nothing is moving in terms of a contract extension, Frankfurt will negotiate if Milan put an offer on the table. It cannot be ruled out that the Italian champions have already asked for more specific information.

From the player’s point of view, Ndicka will listen carefully to an offer if the project is exciting. Milan offer a great package of being Italian champions, playing in the Champions League, being a traditional club and a strong team.

  1. We suck. Miracle team last season. Won’t be repeated. Greedy stingy owners, we’re owned by the worst ones…

    1. Miracle team last season…well we also got the 2nd place the previous one so pretty sure that it isnt just a fluke or miracle and even if you want to paint such picture doesnt make it right. We have broken several records while pioli has been the coach and he has infact better stats than any coach we have had since capello was the coach including bettering ancelottis stats as well.
The only miracle here is that he has outperformed those before him with a worse squad than they had but what people tends to forget is that we have a very young team that is bound to improve as they get more experiennced.

    2. We lost 4 matches last season and two of them due to HORRIBLE refereeing errors. It’s a miracle it took until the last match of the season to confirm the scudetto. It should have happened much earlier.

Not too shabby for a crappy team, eh?

  2. He would be perfect for the way Milan play in defense. Fast, strong and aggressive. Plus he is Left footed and pretty mobile for a big man.
I don’t mind tanganga but he is the same profile as Tomori and Kalulu.
If we are bringing a defender on loan I’ll rather have Diallo from PSG who can play CB and a LB

    1. I suspect Diallo will not happen due to the costs of the operation. Maldini and Massara generally include options in their loan deals and I read PSG want alot for him. As a depth option in CB, I would be okay with any of those options. Would only see significant playing time if there is an injury or two.

  3. Pioli deserves better than a half-a**ed mercato. He is an excellent player but he is worth more than 25 million and I cannot see us signing both CDK and Ndicka much less CDK alone.

  4. Ndicka are good but we dont have enough money to pay CDK 35m euro and ndicka 25m euro in same transfer window this summer. Only loan player for CB we can afford if we buy CDK cash
