The track leading Real Madrid striker Luka Jovic to AC Milan could yet come alive again at the end of the window, according to a report.
Pioli stated during an interview with DAZN earlier in the week that he feels he is well stocked in the attacking department thanks to the positive signs shown in preseason by Lorenzo Colombo, however SportMediaset (via MilanNews) do not rule out that another centre-forward could arrive.
They claim that in the last days of the transfer market, Real Madrid’s Luka Jovic could arrive on loan from Real Madrid as a deputy to Ibrahimovic in an operation similar to that of Brahim Diaz – i.e. a dry loan without an option/obligation to buy.
This comes after Spanish publication Marca claimed earlier today that Milan have registered interest in the Serbian, who would be open to a loan move having struggled in his first season at the Bernabeu due to injuries and the incredible form of Karim Benzema.
