Sports Digitale: Enquiry arrives from Turkish Süper Lig club for Krunic

By Oliver Fisher -

Fenerbahce have asked AC Milan for information on Rade Krunic ahead of a potential attempt to sign him, according to a report from Turkey.

According to Yağız Sabuncuoğlu from SportsDigitale, Fenerbahce have made an enquiry over Krunic, who they seem to be targeting to reinforce the midfield department having finished second behind arch rivals Galatasaray last season.

Having completed the sale of Arda Güler to Real Madrid, the Istanbul club do have some liquidity with which to rebuild the squad and Krunic is a player in his prime that could make an immediate impact.

However, his importance to Stefano Pioli is well known. The Bosnian has established himself as a versatile and reliable professional since his arrival four years ago, so a good offer would be needed for the management to even consider it.

It comes after reports this afternoon suggested Ante Rebic is also a target for Fenerbahce and is actually closing in on a potential €6-7m move.

    1. You are more of a Lord than Krunic – Without Krunic we would not be playing CL this season – he was very important during the final third of last season. so eat you words bro

  1. For those who don’t know, Krunic is now our biggest wildcard and his importance on this team is immense. If he should be considered sellable 20mill is a good place to start 😁

  2. Sell Krunic at this Moment and never loose and Any Possible Demand that Could Generate income to buy Lucas Gourna-Douath From Fomer N Okafor Team as soon as possible.
And thik our Managarial Trio FMO(Furlani,Moncada and Ottavio) are Genius to uttalize this Opportunity of letting the Bossnian at this Right Time

    1. im not sure whats worse.. writing and Caping for no reason or thinking its a good idea to sell krunić.
      Im leaning towards the Caps

    1. It makes no different since we used our two slots to RLC and Chuky. Thats maks slot for nonEU players in one club at one season, no matter how much we sold nonEU players

  3. I genuinely hope not, he’s been such a dependable player for the last few seasons and filled in all over the pitch. Unless the money is too good to say no to, I hope he stays.

  4. Pioli will sell his right testicle before he lets Krunic go. Unless ofcourse someone breaks down our door with another Tonali-esque offer, which is highly unlikely, especially out of Turkey.

  5. Krunic will be our starting CDM, atleast for the begining of the season, another CDM that will come is already late to be a starter by 3rd week of august, and if its younger guys like musah they will realise that its not an easy task to take the position away from Krunic, he has been improving in the role over the years, and he has mastered the basics of the role, and he thrives on competition

    1. With the way management is moving, we’ll have another midfielder by the end of the month or first week of August. Not that late.

A late signing would be another surprise signing for CF, someone like Giroud. I don’t think this management likes waiting that long.

      1. The role is a critical one with many instructionsthan any other roles, i feel a new guy was supposed to go on tour with the team, remember the other 2 players he will play with are also new guys, unless you are signing a world class player who knows everything, personally i dont have a problem with krunic helping the new guy to slowly settle in, I feel its late to let him go, and he is an intelligent player, average talent ofcourse

        1. Honestly, I don’t know how you can see any talent in Krunic. If he receives 100% of the balls, he passes 96% of them backwards. He creates no forward opportunities and makes Milan’s game slow. But despite all this, some see him as a Maestro, a Pirlo. And I imagine these are the same people who saw high-quality player material in Borini for Milan.

          1. Lol, he is not a pirlo nor a maestro, neither was there high-quality in borini 🤣🤣🤣, unfortunately of what we have, only Krunic can play CDM, wish we had someone better, a pirlo like u said, but we dont have, and we watch all ac milan games supporting the team, enough said, let the management continue building the team, for us fans to continue enjoying watching our beloved milan

        2. No. Krunic is too limited of a player. He can be a good late sub, but that’s just about it. And we have too many players on our squad already. Krunic needs to go. And right now he’s 29 and we’ll probably get 7-8 million for him. And we should take that.

          1. Okay, I understand your opinion, let the team building continue, im sure we will have a bettter squad, opinions about players always differ, thats very normal, but the love of the club is the same

  6. All jokes aside, Krunic has improved a lot, he is literally our best midfielder last season, I would not take less than $50m from him. I know that he had a rough time with us but the last 2 season give how much he has improved and given his age, I said that he is one of our most important player.
