Young goalkeeper Deniz Dilmen is attracting interest from several European clubs including AC Milan, according to a report from Turkey.
Sporx report that Dilmen – an 18-year-old who plays for Istanbul Başakşehir FK – is wanted by Premier League duo Everton and Wolverhampton Wanderers as well as Villarreal and Milan.
Dilmen is highly regarded and has already made his senior debut for Başakşehir which means that he has drawn the attention of scouts. Milan, as the Arda Güler pursuit shows, are watching the league closely.
Başakşehir have a decision to make given that his contract expires at the end of the upcoming season but they are hopeful that he will agree a three-year renewal, with praise coming from their head coach. Emre Belözoğlu.
He called the teenager ‘the best goalkeeper among his age’ and he became the youngest goalkeeper to ever play a professional game for them .
Dilmen has played for his country at U16, U17, and U19 level and he is expected to be the No.1 for the national team in the future too.
We currently have 6 goalkeepers for 1.5 spots 🤦♂️
