By Oliver Fisher -

After numerous reports suggesting that it was imminent, Casper Stylsvig has confirmed that he will be leaving AC Milan in favour of a new challenge back in England.

Ever since Elliott Management took control of the club in 2018 and since the change in ownership to RedBird Capital, Milan have grown massively in global appeal thanks to new sponsorships and partnerships.

Stylsvig has been at the heart of that, given his role in finding those new agreements, and it is perhaps no surprise that he became in demand. Chelsea came knocking and he has decided to move back. to England, having formerly worked there at Manchester United and Fulham.

The executive confirmed the move in a post on his LinkedIn profile, thanking those who he worked with at Milan and revealing a bit of insight into why he decided to make the switch.

“After almost 5 years at AC Milan, I have made the decision to make the move to Chelsea Football Club as Chief Revenue Officer,” he said.

“Big thanks to everyone who made my time at AC Milan incredibly rewarding – it’s been fantastic to see what the Club has achieved over the last few years!

“As I start my new role, I’m excited to be a part of the talented Executive Leadership Team at CFC and ready to take on a new challenge.”
