Stylsvig believes Dubai trip will ‘consolidate the development and international position’ of Milan

AC Milan’s Chief Revenue Officer Casper Stylsvig has spoken about the decision to head to the Middle East during the World Cup break.

It had been rumoured for weeks that Milan and some Premier League clubs would be heading out to Dubai while the World Cup is being played in Qatar, and today the Dubai Super Cup was officially announced.

It is a friendly tournament that will be played from 8 to 16 December in Dubai at the Al-Maktoum stadium, with the clubs participating in order to ensure their players are getting minutes in their legs even during the break. Milan, Liverpool, Spurs, Arsenal and Lyon will be present.

After the announcement was made about the Dubai Super Cup, the Chief Revenue Officer, Casper Stylsvig spoke about the opportunity not only to stay in shape but also to expand the club’s global brand, with his comments relayed by MilanNews.

“The upcoming Dubai Super Cup will excite the many fans of the region by strengthening the link with the Rossoneri’s colours and brand. It will represent an exciting stage in an important trip to Dubai where we aim to consolidate the development and international position of the club in a key and commercially strategic market,” he said.
