After the Epiphany – a holiday celebrated in Italy on January 6 – the Rossoneri goalkeeper will undergo new scans to see how his muscle is progressing and the recovery times will be clearer.
The paper claims that the target now is to have the 27-year-old available again for the Supercoppa Italiana against Inter in Riyad on January 18. However, given how delicate an issue this has been to resolve, there will be absolutely no rushing on the part of the medical staff and they will take as much time as is necessary to make sure he is at 100% again.
