Tatarusanu makes stance clear: “Winning is more important than not conceding”

With less than 20 minutes left until kick-off, AC Milan goalkeeper Ciprian Tatarusanu shared his thoughts on the clash against Torino. He assured that it has been a good week for them at Milanello.

The Rossoneri got just one point from the game against Bologna and since both Inter and Napoli won, their lead was reduced to one point. In other words, tonight’s game is very important for the standings but also for the confidence.

Speaking to MilanTV, as cited by MilanNews, Milan’s backup goalkeeper Tatarusanu was asked about the task at hand. He assured that training has gone well at Milanello this week and that the Rossoneri are ready for the game.

“It was a good week, we prepared intensely with the aim of winning today. We are preparing ourselves well, we’re happy that we haven’t conceded a lot, but winning is more important than not conceding. Torino are an intense team, they rely a lot on physicality but we can and must give more than them,” he concluded.

Obviously, Mike Maignan will be between the sticks this evening and Tatarusanu will remain on the bench. With all of his experience, though, his presence can be important for the team in the locker room.
