AC Milan defender Theo Hernandez has issued a response on social media to criticism from Spanish news outlet Diario AS.
Hernandez joined in the summer from Real Madrid as part of a €90million spending spree by owners Elliott Management in which six players arrived.
However, the season has not gone to plan thus far as Milan sit in the bottom half of the table having lost six of their first 11 league games for the first time in 78 years.
Despite this, the performances of Theo Hernandez have been a bright spot for the Rossoneri, with the French full-back now an established starter at left-back.
However, that didn’t stop Diario AS taking a pop at the 22-year-old, as they tweeted a link to a clip of Lazio’s second goal on Sunday, along with the comment: “In Italy they are getting tired of Theo for things like this: the mistake that uncovers his weakness.”
Hernandez responded in humorous fashion, stating: “Does whoever posted this need glasses? Or have you forgotten to wear them?”
🤣🤣🤣🤣 el que ha publicado esto tenia las gafas 👓 puestas ? O se le ha olvidado ponérselas 😂😂🤣😂🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂
