Sky: Theo Hernandez misses training to attend the birth of his first child

Theo Hernandez was not at training today because he and his partner welcomed their first child this morning, according to a report.

According to Sky (via MilanNews), Theo Hernandez was not present at Milanello this morning for the resumption of training with the rest of the squad and the reason is because his son was born.

Sky also reveal that the baby will be called Theo Junior, and the French full-back will still be available to Stefano Pioli for Sunday’s match against Torino, and he may even have a special celebration lined up if he were to get his name on the scoresheet.

We extend our warmest congratulations to Theo and to his partner Zoe on the birth of Theo Junior, and based on his father and his uncle’s ability (Lucas Hernandez, at Bayern Munich) it could be a pretty safe bet that he goes on to be a decent footballer.
