Theo offers potential future hint with message: “Bring Milan back to the place it deserves”

Theo Hernandez, today, has offered a potential clue about his future with his end-of-season message to AC Milan fans.

It has seemed increasingly likely that Theo will leave Milan in recent weeks. However, with more structure in the club, perhaps, he could stay at the club. Especially if the interest in his is not fulfilling his own interests.

The latest reports suggest that a Saudi Pro League team has offered him a bumper deal for next season. However, he has already refused an offer from Saudi Arabia this year, so the same could happen again.

This afternoon, Theo took to X to post a message to Milanisti, and it can be found below.

A very complicated season ended in which we failed to achieve our goals. Now we need to get up and bring Milan back to the place it deserves. Thanks to our fans for always being by our side. ❤️🖤”

It could be nothing, however, the fact that he states that ‘we’ need to bring the club back to the best level is certainly something. Perhaps, Igli Tare’s first mission could be sorting a renewal, perhaps, with a renewed willpower.

  1. The negative Theo argument is the cooling break, clown world defending, lack of effort, snatching penalties and missing etc… The pro Theo argument is we’ve run him into the ground without a backup, his wages are the same as others who’ve only just arrived and he’s shown better form toward the end of the season… As I said in another post – I have no clue what to think anymore…

    1. I think the biggest arguments against him are his lack of professionalism and commitment, as well as the fact that he is weak, psychologically, like many other players of Milan.

      1. I know – he’s probably still crying into his pillow every night over Maldini… I mean, are you a professional footballer or what? It’s crazy…

        1. He isn’t crying over Maldini not atleast this year.
He was completely drained physically and mentally with lot of games into Milan and France national team.
Even their Deschamps(France national team coach) said beginning of the year, he is not well physically and mentally, if he cannot play in this situation.

All the Manager’s they don’t care about anything, even without preseason he should play in 1week.
Maybe we can say many good and bad things, but there’s no management who can manage player and manager problems.

You can bring any new player, they will have same mentality if the management is like this and the coach with this kind of mentality.

          1. Article from 6 years ago.

Former Real Madrid defender Theo Hernandez has responded to criticism about his time at the Santiago Bernabeu.

“I was known as a bad boy, he told an interview with Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

“I was insulted and criticised at Real Madrid.

“Of course I made mistakes, but I believe I have matured as a person.

“I am not the wild character I am portrayed as, in fact I prefer to spend time at home with my dogs and watching television.”
            🤣🤣🤣

Yeah. Milan management is the reason for Theo’s behavior, just like it was Real Madrid’s management the reason for his behavior back then and why they want nothing to do with him even now 6 years later.
Real Madrid can probably sign Theo for the same money they sold him in 2019, around 20m, but instead they are trying to sign some dude from Benfica for 50m.
The man said he has matured as a person. 🤣

          2. I think he’s been pretty much shot physically and mentally since the December World Cup in Qatar in ’22.

And certainly completely shot since the Euros last summer.

They never found a proper deputy for him and just ran him into the ground. Guys can’t be expected to play that many games and maintain a high level.

          3. @Milanista exactly this. It’s often underestimated the value of rest. Theo’s being overplayed,. overworked. Not saying he hasn’t had his fair share of unprofessionalism…

    2. Many of his behaviours and actions can’t and shouldn’t be defended.
However, let’s not pretend that a toxic environment (created by a bad management) doesn’t lead to misbehaviour at the players level.
The truth is, all of our stars players are either regressing or stagnating (Reijnders being the only exception). You can’t just blame the players here, the accountability has the reach the top level.

  2. Leão is the one to be sold over the summer. Theo can’t fetch a large enough price tag to merit his departure, plus his girl loves Italy and just had a baby. For good or bad this management is turning the team over to Reijnders and Pulisic with Mike being the stabilizer between management and Theo. Ricci will come in and play the 6 in a 433.

  3. Said all along, it doesn’t make sense for him to leave now. Maybe he will, but he’d be negotiating on a bad season – if he has a summer of rest and gets back to looking like one of the world’s best he’ll immeasurably improve his last big contract opportunity and he’ll have no transfer fee attached. He could double his earnings by waiting a year.

  4. Theo has been tired since the Euros.

He has no help in the defence from his winger. Plays in a team without any structure. Is supposed to carry this team but without structure there is no way he can do that.

Reijnders and Pulisic who have been our best players were totally gone some matches as they also struggled in the lack of passing etc. but they managed to get some points anyway.

Just give him a new contract. We will have to pay a lot more to get an average players.

  5. Who we need sell is leao.he is good but can’t grow further in this team.sell Leao 80- 100m then keep conceicao or get a coach to play 3-5-2.its a more balanced formation than d 3-4-3.we can get ricci with 30 get nicolusi as backup, keep cheek as fofana backup then a good right wind back.sell chucks and musa too to get a reinjders back up and a good defender and we are okay for the new season.theo will be more free to roam and do his thing with little hindrance in the formation

  6. The players don’t matter anymore. It’s the ownership/management who need transfer listing.

fans do not want to buy merch or go to matches until they are gone

    GO HOME parasites

  7. I always thought it was strange by the coach’s this year to not play him in the 352.especially early when the defense was lacking by the team.

  8. Guys.. this guy’s is a Milanista t heart.

Let’s start with the right coach….I think next season he comes back stronger mentally

  9. What everyone failed to realize about Theo is that Fact during scudetto winning season we had a solid Defensive midfield that would cover for him. Tonali and El Presidente who was tireless no matter how many minutes he played. Musah can cover but later the stress got the best of him Fofana isn’t really world class as CDM. Leao doesn’t really track back. And our CB have severely underperformed.
Instead of trying to pursue Milenkovic we should try to persuade Kessie.

  10. Roma accuse Zaniolo of punching two youth players after Fiorentina brawl.
“AS Roma announces that, following today’s match, a regrettable incident occurred involving player Nicolo Zaniolo.
According to initial reconstructions, the player allegedly entered the Primavera team’s dressing room after the match and engaged in provocative behavior towards some of the Giallorossi youth players. During the confrontation, two players from the Primavera squad were reportedly physically struck.
AS Roma cannot but firmly condemn any form of aggressive conduct or behavior that does not align with the values of sport.”
“According to Sportitalia, Zaniolo was not authorised to be in the dressing rooms, but he went in anyway and got into an argument with several Roma players.
The situation degenerated and became physical, with Zaniolo accused of punching two of the teenage Roma players.”

Certain ex Milan employee/director in January of 2023 was strongly pushing ownership to give him 30m+ to sign this great player and even a better person who has more yellow/red cards in his career than goal contributions even though he is a forward.
Zaniolo and Theo on the same team would have been so good for the team and so much fun. That’s exactly what kind of player Milan needed.

    1. I believe the certain ex Milan employee/director also wanted the bring back El Shawaary from Roma – the man was on fire 🔥

  11. Many fans complaining that he is being overworked would also complain that he isn’t being appreciated enough if he was benched.

Safe to say that this fanbase don’t even know what they wanted, they just want to cry over every decisions made on and off the pitch

  12. The fans usually either support or Not support. If some people don’t know what to think anymore, they are not fans, they’re clueless. They are mindless creature.

They are even worse than people who support or not support the players or management.
What’s worse than Theo’s performance? It’s those folks who watched the games, claimed themselves the fans, and.. don’t know what they support.

There is one example, just up there in the comments section.

  13. All the pieces of the puzzle fit except for one. Laeo. Give him the ball on the wing and he can do amazing things…but every tactical adjustment any coach makes has to work around the fact that Laeo won’t hustle on defense, and is inconsistent making runs especially to the far post. Theo is a different story.
Theo has the temperament of a child, and should never have been given the captain’s armband…but a humble and rested Theo playing on modest wages is better than we are going to get in the Mercato . Plus Theo would be much better with Pulisic on the left. The same vision to spot runs by Theo, but with more coverage defensively. He also needs a proper deputy…for once.

  14. All the people talking about missing deputy. We have highly talented Barts waiting for minutes for so long. Theo just seems to have a problem missing any minutes. Any time he is not playing it seems like coaches have to apologise. I’d really like him to stay but they need to discuss this topic upfront, so we can start bringing Barts at halftime when 2-0 up without Theo bith.ing aroung.

  15. Blew lights anyway I remeber the time
Exactly ppl written bou thatt most of our kids on the gound
    Whateva man
They re told bulshed just a lil bit exactly

  16. Good thing is that Tare will make the decision,l. If it was up to the fans you would sell half a team every season. You are the same as what Furlani and Ibrahimovic would do, sell sell…🤣
