TMW: AC Milan and Napoli scouting Livorno defender, SPAL winger

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are battling Napoli for the signings of both Livorno starlet Luka Bogdan and SPAL winger Mohamed Fares, according to a report.

The Rossoneri reportedly had scouts present in Frosinone to watch the match between Luigi Di Biagio’s Italy U21s team and Croatia U21s.

Among the players of interest was Livorno centre-back Luka Bogdan, with Milan closely watching the defender.

TMW claim that Napoli, Atalanta, Torino and Palermo are all interested in Bogdan, formerly of Catania.

Meanwhile, the same outlet claims that Milan are also battling Napoli for SPAL winger Mohamed Fares.

The Franco-Algerian – who scored in his last match against Roma – is currently on loan from Hellas Verona, with a right to buy this summer set at €2.2million if they are to stay in Serie A.

Milan have apparently watched the 23-year-old multiple times this campaign, during which he has scored twice in 26 Serie A appearances.
