Atalanta are pressing hard for the signing of Espanyol midfielder Marc Roca, a report claims, who has been linked with a move to Milan.
MilanNews reported earlier last week there are many names that Milan are monitoring with regards to signings, with Espanyol’s deep-lying playmaker Roca mentioned in particular.
Mundo Deportivo (via MilanNews) then reported that Atletico Madrid are also in the running to land the 23-year-old, as well as Villarreal, Sevilla, Arsenal and Milan, with an asking price of around €15m set despite a release clause of €40m in his contract.
According to a report from TMW, Atalanta are the latest team to join the running to sign Roca, who it claims will cost around €18-20million.
Contacts are in progress, and La Dea are trying to beat Fiorentina, Milan and other clubs that have shown interest.
This of course comes amid claims from Germany that the player wants to join his best friend Dani Olmo at RB Leipzig.
