TMW: Italy international ready to take next step in his career with Milan readying €30m bid

AC Milan are continuing to consider a move for Torino striker Andrea Belotti and are even willing to make a sizeable offer, according to a report.

Corriere Granata – part of the TMW network – reports how Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s main attacking partner for next season could be none other than Belotti. The Rossoneri are getting closer and closer to securing a return to the Champions League, and from this they hope to have a base to attract players and bolster the squad.

Torino president Urbano Cairo made it clear last week that he is ready to try and secure the renewal of Belotti, whose current deal expires in June 2022. Even if they avoid relegation comfortably, allowing Belotti to prepare at a more relaxed pace for the European Championships in June and July, the moment has arrived for the captain to make step forward in his career.

The report adds that Milan are willing to put around €30m on the table for the 27-year-old which appears a ‘plausible and rather realistic figure’. Il Toro did not sell him when they could have got almost double, but they enjoyed his services for many more years.
