TMW: Juventus to turn attention away from Milan’s Massara with new target lined up

By Euan Burns -

Juventus are not expected to continue their pursuit of AC Milan sporting director Frederic Massara as they turn their attention to Napoli’s Cristiano Giuntoli instead, a report claims.

As has been reported by TMW (via Pianeta Milan), the Bianconeri are looking to sign a sporting director ahead of the new campaign and they appear keen to poach one from a Serie A rival.

Massara has been the focus of their attention but he is now expected to sign a new deal with Milan in order to ward off interest.

Juventus have taken the message and want Giuntoli to join the club, having signed players such as Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Kim Min-jae for Napoli who are poised to win the Serie A title.

Other names being linked with the job include Andrea Berta who is currently at Atletico Madrid, and Sassuolo’s Giovanni Rossi. Giuntoli is the primary candidate right now, though.
