TMW: Milan set sights on Almeria starlet described as ‘the new Leao’

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan are always looking for talents on the market and their scouting network, led by Geoffrey Moncada, has done great things before. According to a report, ‘the new Leao’ has been identified.

Over the last few years, Milan have signed quite a few youngsters, many of them completely unknown. Pierre Kalulu is a very good example, arriving at the club for just €500k before even making a senior appearance.

According to TuttoMercatoWeb, a new name has emerged on Milan’s radar: Marciano Sanca. The 18-year-old currently plays for Almeria’s B team and has been described as the ‘new Leao’ by insiders.

In the meantime, Milan are working hard to renew the contract of the actual Leao, who will take part in the World Cup with Portugal. The Rossoneri know that a good tournament for the winger could make a renewal very complicated, but it could also facilitate a hefty sale.
