Bundesliga side Wolfsburg are leading the race to sign Jens Petter Hauge from AC Milan with talks in progress, according to a report.
After arriving less than a year ago from Bodo/Glimt and having had a first season full of ups and downs, there has been speculation that Milan could sell Hauge in order to try and get a quick capital gain, with the 21-year-old attracting interest both domestically and from teams abroad.
According to the latest from TMW, Wolfsburg are trying hard to sign Hauge and there are ongoing contacts with Milan. The Rossoneri value the young Norwegian talent at around €15m, but according to what the report adds the final figure could slightly lower this estimate.
To date, Wolfsburg are the Bundesliga club ahead in the race but not the only one keen on signing Hauge, and with the summer officially opening tomorrow it appears to be a situation worth following.
