TMW: Milan are one of only two clubs that Arsenal defender would move to

By Euan Burns -

Arsenal defender Jakub Kiwior is only prepared to come back to Serie A if the move is to either AC Milan or Juventus, which is a blow to both Napoli and AS Roma who have been linked with the Pole.

As has been reported by Tuttomercatoweb (via Football Italia), the Arsenal defender is still potentially on the move this month as he tries to get more game time and boost his development.

He moved to Arsenal from Spezia after showing that he was ready to make the next step, but the partnership of William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes means he has seen fewer meaningful minutes than he might have liked for the Gunners.

Milan are desperate to add a new defender to the squad this summer because they have injuries to key players and the return of Matteo Gabbia alone is not enough.

It seems that Arsenal would only like to loan the player out if there is no option for purchase at the end of the season. It would just be a dry loan.

Juventus have just added Tiago Djalo to their squad which means they may not push for Kiwior’s signature. Milan could make their move late in the window.

  1. Who’d want to join Inferiority Complex Napoli or We Love Rugby Roma? Or cheating b*stards Juventus for that matter. Not sure we should be going for players on a dry loan tho…

    1. Should absolutely be a loan, whether it is dry or not I don’t think matters.

What we need right now is some cover until the rest of the CBs return.

Spent the next 3 to 4 months working on the player we actually want, not just the guy who is available.

    1. lol i’m sure they just took a look at him and stamped a pass on his medical form lol. That might be a costly mistake for them later because they often have more injury issues then we do.
