AC Milan have made an enquiry over CSKA Moscow attacking midfielder Nikola Vlasic but have learned of their very high asking price, a report claims.
The media headlines have been dominated by Milan’s search to find a replacement for Hakan Calhanoglu after the Turkey international decided to cross the city divide and join Inter on a free transfers.
According to TMW, Milan are looking for a playmaker who will be a replacement of quality and in the last few hours they lodged an enquiry for Vlasic of CSKA Moscow. However, there is a very high demand from the Russian club, amounting to €35m.
At these figures a deal does not seem possible because Milan are still operating under certain budgetary restrictions and therefore, we can infer, Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are more likely to move on to other targets that have been mentioned such as Isco or Marcel Sabitzer.
