TMW: Milan enquire about young Wolves striker after 16-goal season

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan are looking for a striker on the market and Chief Scout Geoffrey Moncada is currently working at full speed on the matter. The latest name on the list is Wolves striker Fabio Silva, a report claims.

It’s not exactly a secret that the Rosoneri are looking to bring in Marcus Thuram on a free transfer, but the negotiations are difficult with fierce competition. In the meantime, Moncada is also focusing on names for the future.

According to TuttoMercatoWeb, Milan have identified Wolves striker Fabio Silva as one of them and have even enquired about the player. This past season, the 20-year-old was on loan at Anderlecht and PSV Eindhoven, scoring 16 goals in total.

However, Roma and Sevilla are also keeping tabs on the youngster, who joined Wolves from Porto back in 2020. They paid a whopping €40m for his services and thus Silva will not be cheap, in the event of a sale, but a loan could perhaps be possible.

  1. FM Wonderkid but IRL so far hasn’t shown top class potential imho. Not ready for UCL level football. He’s probably better off having a few more years in Dutch football.

  2. Can say that again. The market is irrationally inflated. And it is going to continue for the foreseeable future. Hence midtier EPL teams go up against Milan for players when it used to be the big guns slugging it out for the best players. How times have change. And what make matters worse is selling teams demanding these ridiculous figures because there are cash flushed English teams prepared to pay. I don’t blame Milan’s transfer strategy, this is madness.

  3. This guy absolutely 0 (zero), I’ve seen him live twice in the pitch.. This must be a joke, don’t take it serious

  4. Nonsense rumour. Not happening. His agent is Jorge Mendes and despite the boys size, he’s a giant p***y. If you think CDK is weight, wait until you see him.
