AC Milan are expected to sign Daichi Kamada and could turn to an alternative target if Brahim Diaz does not arrive too, a journalist has claimed.
Niccolò Ceccarini, editor-in-chief of TMW, spoke about the current situation Milan find themselves in with regards to the playmaker role. Daichi Kamada is now virtually a Rossoneri player and there will be another meeting next week to reach a full agreement over his contract.
It is still difficult to establish when the medical visits could take place at the moment, but Kamada will sign a four-year contract worth €3m net per season, which is just under €4m with the Growth Decree tax relief scheme.
It is unlikely however that Brahim Diaz will remain. Milan have tried to lower Real Madrid’s asking price, but on the other hand Los Blancos seem increasingly willing to bring him back to the Spanish capital, also by virtue of Marco Asensio’s departure.
There should soon be a decisive summit for his future and in the meantime the Rossoneri management continue to monitor the situation relating to Tommaso Baldanzi, who Empoli could also let go of in the face of a big enough offer.
Buy Baldanzi, let Diaz go already
