AC Milan have joined Napoli in the race to sign Perr Schuurs from Torino, a report claims, with Geoffrey Moncada leading the pursuit.
According to TMW, Napoli are looking for the heir of Kim Min-jae who will soon become a new Bayern Munich player, and one of the names near the top of their list is that of Schuurs.
The Torino defender is one of the most coveted players at European level given that Newcastle and Liverpool are among the sides who are also closely watching the development of the former Ajax man.
However, Milan’s chief scout Moncada is a profound admirer of Schuurs and the Rossoneri seem ready to ‘forcefully enter’ the race to land him.
Schuurs made 30 Serie A appearances for Torino last season under Ivan Juric and is currently yet to make his senior debut for the Dutch national team, though he has played plenty for the U21 side.
Milan aren’t in the chase for CD… not for priority now at least.
If the price is right (
Remember him at Ajax and I couldn’t understand why there was no chasing of him
Great defender but I guess Torino want somewhere around 20-25 mil for him which has no sense with our limited budget
We don’t really know who Moncada is and isn’t a “profound admirer” of, because that’s his job and he’s supposed to keep quiet about it. LOL!!! Unless SM has unprecedented insight into Moncada’s inner workings….
It says according to TMW
(tuttomercatoweb) not according to sempremilan.
