TMW: Milan offer Ibrahimovic a contract extension – the details

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have offered a renewal to Zlatan Ibrahimovic that could see him remain at the club for the 2023-24 season, a report claims.

Ibrahimovic has just come back after spending the best part of a year out following an operation to virtually reconstruct his knee after the Scudetto win, but he has reiterated in various interviews that he feels as good as he ever has and is ready to contribute for club and country again.

As a result, there has been speculation that retiring at the end of the season is not something that the 41-year-old is considering and that he would like to keep playing for at least one more year.

TMW report that Milan have made an offer to Ibrahimovic to renew his contract for another season and the chances that the Swedish striker will continue his career as a player are very high.

Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara have tabled a new contract with figures very similar to those agreed a year ago, which is around €1.5m net per season plus bonuses.

  1. Well then origi can be replaced with italian colombo, giroud can be replaced with italian retegui. Balo toure can be replaced with italian, and saladmaker can be replaced with italian berardi. Just a simulation 🙂

    1. With that kind of salary he will bring in more money for the club via shirt sales than the club pays him. Good business. And a leader in the locker room. A motivator. If he can play and score too then it’s an added bonus. 😀

  2. @Ghayth you are the one who is stupid, this team still need someone like him in the dressing room and off pitch, 1,5M isnt much his jersey selling probably enough for that.
