TMW: Milan in Ouédraogo race but five other clubs are keen – the latest

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are one of four Italian clubs that are interested in signing Assan Ouédraogo from Schalke 04, while there is also competition from the Bundesliga.

As reported by Tuttosport (via MilanNews) this morning, Ouédraogo has attracted the eyes of many top European clubs given that he is a starter for Schalke at the age of just 17. Milan have included the player on their list of targets, but will have to deal with very strong competition.

Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig in particular are pushing to keep him in Germany but there are also three other Italian clubs in the running: Inter, Juventus and Napoli.

Ouédraogo’s release clause is another point of attraction, given that he can leave for €12m from May 9th of next year, the day on which the midfielder will turn 18.

That could prove to be a real bargain considering the talent he has, but also considering the fact that in January the player would cost up to €20m as the clause is not active.
