TMW: Milan president Scaroni leaves Lega Assembly before it begins

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan were one of the teams whose representatives left the Lega Serie A assembly before it even began today, according to a report.

As is being reported by TMW, the Lega Assembly scheduled for today did not start as scheduled at 14:30 CET, but at around 16:00 instead and without the representatives of Juventus, Roma, Milan (president Paolo Scaroni), Napoli and Monza, who left the Milano headquarters on Via Rosellini shortly after their arrival.

That means they all left without having remained for the meeting, which then began with 12 clubs present, and about an hour and a half after the initially scheduled time.

The reason for the walkout is not mentioned in the report but it can be inferred that it was out of frustration over the delay of the commencement of the meeting, or perhaps it was due to the fact that it then clashed with other arrangements they had.
