AC Milan are pushing ahead with a deal for Santos striker Kaio Jorge but the commission requests could put them off, a report claims.
According to the latest from TMW, a meeting with the player’s entourage took place on Tuesday and during the talks the figures needed for Jorge to move to Italy were put on the table. The 19-year-old has a contract with Santos expiring in December which certainly helps the negotiations, as he is not likely to renew.
To sell him immediately this summer, the Brazilian club are asking for €10m – not a prohibitive figure – but the same amount is being asked for as a commission upon signing. Therefore, the Kaio Jorge operation would cost about €20m and Milan are reflecting.
At the moment it seems Napoli remain ahead in the race to sign Jorge, while other clubs have been credited with interest in the forward too.
