AC Milan are once again back on the trail of Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic and have held new talks over a deal, a report claims.
It is no secret now that Milan are determined to add at least one centre-back to their ranks in the January window given the current injury problems, and it could be two if one of Mateo Musacchio and/or Leo Duarte were to leave.
According to TMW, the Rossoneri management have initiated new contacts for Milenkovic, who is therefore part of the list of profiles they are looking at to bolster the back line.
La Viola’s current asking price is considered too high but negotiations will continue in the coming weeks after contacts started last month on the basis of a loan with view to permanent.
Therefore it is not only Simakan for whom important steps have been made, as Milan try again for Milenkovic.
