TMW: Milan’s will and Donnarumma’s requests outlined as pursuits of PSG, Juve and Man City seem difficult

By Oliver Fisher -

Gianluigi Donnarumma’s future is at risk of developing into another soap opera just like in 2017, if it hasn’t already that is.

According to TMW the situation is now very clear: the goalkeeper’s agent Mino Raiola is asking for a €10million net salary with a release clause and a signing bonus. On the other hand, Milan are letting the player know that they have no alternatives in mind and their priority is a renewal, as they want to build the project of the future around him.

They are not keen on the economic demands though so the negotiation between the parties goes on; there will be new contracts with the agent Mino Raiola and all avenues are possible.

In terms of potential suitors, none of them stick out. Starting with Juventus, Szczesny is currently their number one and would have to be sold to make an attempt for Gigio but even for the Bianconeri €10m per season is a lot.

Paris Saint-Germain want a new long-term goalkeeper and Keylor Navas is coming to the end of his career, but he continues to perform at a very high level. Manchester City have also been linked but Pep Guardiola already have Ederson in the squad – one of the best in the world – so Milan have a strong hand.
