There wasn’t an awful lot for AC Milan fans to get excited about in Dubai this evening as Stefano Pioli’s side lost 2-1 to Arsenal in a friendly, and then lost the shootout afterwards 4-3.
Milan took to the field with what can be described as an experimental line-up of sorts given the unavailability of players like Maignan, Calabria, Florenzi, Theo Hernandez, De Ketelaere, Leao, Giroud and Ibrahimovic.
They were 2-0 down at half-time but got back into the game in the 78th minute, when Tonali whipped in a free-kick from the left and it was met by the head of Tomori, who glanced it inside the far post.

Milan lost the game 2-1 and were beaten 4-3 in the penalty shootout, but we simply have to share the cheeky panenka that Lazetic scored to keep the contest alive.
