AC Milan defender Fikayo Tomori has admitted that it has been a difficult period for the team but another clean sheet has helped the situation.
It was a third clean sheet in a row for the Rossoneri as they climbed up to third for the time being with a 1-0 victory over Monza on Saturday night. Tomori spoke to Milan TV after the game to analyse what was another tough slog in the end but a hard fought three points.
“There is satisfaction because we won with another clean sheet. It’s been a difficult few months but we look forward with confidence. After three weeks out I’m happy to be back, but I’m happier with the three points. I’m tired but that’s okay,” he said.
