Fikayo Tomori has once again expressed his delight after helping AC Milan clinch a 19th Scudetto, with his defensive work a key part of it.
Milan kept 9 clean sheets in their last 11 league games conceding only 2 goals in that span, which allowed the team to end the season with 6 straight wins and ultimately wrap up the title by taking advantage of Inter’s slip against Bologna. Tomori spoke to Milan TV to reflect on the triumph.
“We have a strong team, we are happy. So are my family and friends after winning this Scudetto. It’s a good moment,” he said.
“It is always important to concede few goals. I am proud that we have conceded only two goals in the last 11 league games. When you do not concede a goal, it is easier to win.”
