AC Milan midfielder Sandro Tonali has admitted that he is not a player who talks much while off the field, but that changes once he is on the pitch.
DAZN presented a special programme on the second league derby of the season back on February 5 of this year, which was won by Milan thanks to Olivier Giroud’s brace in the second half and totally reopened the title race.

Trailing 1-0 at the break, it was the 75th minute when Milan sprung to life, equalising when a Brahim Diaz shot was deflected to an unmarked Giroud at the far post. Three minutes later, it was the Frenchman again who produced a beautiful flick to take De Vrij out of the game before beating Handanovic with a low shot.
The broadcaster described it as ‘the most beautiful duel of recent times’ and ‘a battle until the last second’. As part of the show, they spoke to Tonali about his feelings, and his comments were relayed by MilanNews.
“I’m not one who talks a lot, but then on the pitch it really changes everything and you bring out even what you can’t do in front of the team in the dressing room. And then there you understand that your team-mates are with you,” a report claims.
